View and Receive Alerts Time in Transit in Your Area (Piedmont)
Temporalert, an ARPA Piedmont service developed by CSP - Innovation in the ICTs, allows you to view the media thunderstorms on the map and strong intensity in transit in your area.
The application is experimental and only the areas of the Piedmont Region, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta are currently covered, plus some provinces of Lombardy (CO, CR, LC, Lo, Mi, PV, Va) and of Emilia Romagna (PC).
The service is based on the spinding observations and subsequent Nowcasting elaborations by Arpa Piemonte.
Although the process is made by reason of the state of the art and the best technologies available, intrinsic uncertainty factors remain in temporal phenomena.
Functionality:

[•] Animation of the past, present and future situation (from 1 hour in the past to 1 hour in the future)

[•] Favorite location management
[•] High precision data from radar (maximum resolution 500 meters)
[•] high data update frequency (5 minutes)
[•] Possibility to select the width of the area in the surroundings of your point of interest (5km, 10km, 20km)

*Note*: the radar data allow you to locate thunderstorms with a precision of 500m, within the ray set in their areas of interest (5, 10 or 20 km)

There are currently problems in using the app with the latest version of Android (6.0 Marshmallow). We are working on a decisive update, which will arrive shortly.
