NOTE: THIS APPLICATION REQUIRES A SUPERCHIPS™ VIVID LINQ OBD-II VEHICLE INTERFACE DEVICE (SOLD SEPARATELY) COMPATIBLE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE APPLICATION WILL NOT FUNCTION WITHOUT AN OBD-II ENABLED CONNECTION TO THE VEHICLE. The VIVID Superchips Tuning application allows the user to reprogram the vehicle powertrain computer to improve engine and transmission horsepower and torque. These changes may enhance day-to-day street & track performance, fuel economy, trailer towing, and off-road use. Power levels include 87 Performance, High Octane Performance, Light Tow, Heavy Tow, Mileage XS SAVE, and Crawl Tuning. Superchips engine and/or transmission tuning can be achieved through two proven methods: Quick and Advanced Tuning. Quick Tuning uses Superchips proprietary settings for optimum performance in most conditions. The user has limited parameter adjustability. Advanced Tuning allows the user to manually select from a series of engine parameters to suit the users specific needs. Adjustments may include (depending on vehicle application): Wide-Open Throttle (WOT) restriction removal, WOT shift points, shift firmness, speed limit adjustment, rev limit adjustment, tire size adjustment, axle gear adjustment, throttle body relearn, idle speed, fan temperature control, spark advance set, and tire pressure monitoring threshold adjustment. Tuning is available for most popular Chrysler LLC, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors applications including diesel-powered pickup trucks, gasoline-powered pickup trucks & SUVs, and modern American performance cars.
