The Martial Arts Timer is created to quickly select the target time and start the workout or match.
Unlike most stopwatches with custom input, a host of predefined times is used. Custom times can be set as well, but most of the time you'd simply need a 2 minute match or a 30 second workout. Regardless of doing karate, kickboxing, judo, taekwondo or any other sport, setting a precise time like 1:42 is rarely needed. (Try doing that on default keyboard input with gloves on)
After the countdown reaches 0, a 'rest' timer is automatically started to indicate the time elapsed since the end of the workout or match.
Further sounds are played on start, finish and one to indicate the last stretch (default 10 seconds). The individual sounds can be switched off in the options, as well as the 'last stretch' time.
