LUV4wrd is the social network that encourages anyone who believes that love has the power to make a difference in the world to create, capture and share a moment of love and inspire others to do the same. These moments – simply called a “LUV” – might be an act of kindness, a special time with family or friends, a thoughtful quote, a beautiful sunset…any example of love in action.
HOW IT WORKS
Users share their LUV in a written post, photo or video with other LUV4wrd users and through their social networks, and can TAG others in these networks to create and share their own LUV. A TAG has special meaning – Together Actions Grow – because one TAG can have a ripple effect and turn into many.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
A lot of the digital space is filled with depressing news, political views, angry customer reviews, and other content that sometimes can feel “negative.” LUV4wrd provides a dedicated forum for people to share positive, uplifting messages that align with their personal values. Because that’s what LUV means – Living Ur Values. It also can help generate charitable donations through partnerships with charities, brands and advertisers.
HOW TO GET STARTED
1. Download the LUV4wrd app.
2. Capture a LUV in a written post, photo or video – either something you saw or something you did (for example, paying it forward at a coffee shop).
3. Share the LUV with other LUV4wrd users and through your social networks.
4. By tagging it as an “Inspiration,” you can invite those in your network to create and capture their own LUV.
5. In Phase 2, these moments of love will trigger charitable contributions and retailer offers.
