BMI Calculating (Body Mass Index)
Body mass index (BMI) is an international measure used to calculate if a person is in the ideal weight.
The BMI is determined by the division of the mass of the individual by the square of its height, when the mass is in kilograms and the height in meters.
This application aims to calculate the BMI and display on the screen, besides the IMC, the situation of the individual, based on the table:
IMC below 17 far below weight
Between 17 and 18.49 below weight
Between 18.5 and 24.99 normal weight
Between 25 and 29.99 overweight
Between 30 and 34.99 obesity I
Between 35 and 39.99 obesity II (severe)
Above 40 obesity III (morbid)
It still displays the ideal and minimum (kg) weight on the screen based on the informed height.
