➤ TRIVIA - The Praetorian Legion was the Roman Emperors' personal bodyguard, stationed in Rome to protect the ruling power from external or internal threat. Created by the Emperor Augustus, the Praetorians were stationed outside of Rome, but brought into the city later by Tiberius, giving them significant political power in the Eternal City. The Praetorians were the best soldiers in the known world, and were often employed to crush rebellions throughout the Empire
➤ VANDAL - The Vandals were a tribe of tough Germanic warriors originally from Eastern Europe. Driven west into Germany by the Huns, they spent several centuries allying and fighting with the Romans and various other tribes in the neighborhood, eventually building a substantial kingdom on the coast of North Africa. In 455 CE they sacked Rome (which probably had it coming to them).
➤ ELITE - The elite fighting men of the tribe, Vandal Heavy warriors were armed with several spears, a sword, wooden shield and iron cap. The more successful warriors might wear chainmail armor, typically captured from a less-successful (and now-deceased) foe. Vandals are not famous for refinement or sensitivity. After they sacked Rome, the term 'vandal' was used to describe anybody who breaks stuff for no good reason.
➤ MERCENARY - Landsknecht were Germanic mercenary soldiers of the 15th and 16th centuries. In the 1500s an army of Landsknecht sacked Rome after their employer, the Holy Roman Empire, ran out of funds to pay them. (The lesson being: always pay the folks with the weapons.)
★ TRICKS:
The launch of the Oil Boom brought us, alongside the plethora of changes, a bunch of brand new troops to use into battle once the Industrial Age goes live (most likely in the next Dominations Hack Guide update). I am here to talk a bit about the new troops and check out their stats, even though they are all available in the in-game menus for all.
But it’s nice to have them all in one place and since we’re talking about such an exciting release and update, we have to write about it in depth here. So let’s check out below the new Dominations Hack Guide troops from the Factory and Aircraft!
This troop is great against infantry (defenders) with its fast shooting time and decent hit points / damage ratio. Its weaknesses are cavalry and defensive buildings, which are certainly big Cons when deciding to bring these guys in your army, especially because they need 8 troop space.
