Audi AG is a German automobile manufacturer that designs, engineers, produces, markets and distributes luxury automobiles. The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The R8 development program began in 2004, Lamberty's design being approved and frozen for production. Production body prototypes began field testing in January 2006. The Audi R8 road car was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There was some confusion with the name, which the car shares with the 24 Hours of Le Mans winning R8 Le Mans Prototype (LMP). 6-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx described the Audi R8 as "the best handling road car today".
The Audi A7 Sportback is an executive car / mid-size luxury car produced by Audi. A four-door hatchback, it features a roof line with steeply raked rear window and integrated trunk lid (forming the so-called "Sportback"), and frameless doors. The Audi S6 is the high performance variant of the Audi A6, an executive car produced by German automaker Audi. The original S6 (Ur-S6) was largely the same car as the outgoing, original Audi S4 (C4) (Ur-S4), with the only visible differences being new body-cladding and badging. In certain markets where the even-higher performance RS6 which is also based on the A6 is not sold, the S6 is the most powerful A6 trim there. The S6, like all Audi "S" models, is fitted as standard with Audi's trademark quattro four-wheel drive (4WD) system, the S6 using the Torsen-based permanent 4WD.
