The application will dictate a word in French, say "Love" and will dictate the same word in Spanish "Amor".
All you have to do is listen and your brain will begin to assimilate the words!
After using this app for a few weeks you will see that you will be able to understand certain dialogues in Spanish. This method is an intensive course to learn Spanish.
