Anxiety United is a new Social Network, Blogging Platform and Resource Centre; with an aim to encouraging people to gain knowledge and to share experiences relating to mental and emotional health issues - symptoms, treatments and medications.
An entire social network dedicated to users who live with a mental health issue, or those who have gained experience and knowledge of mental health conditions, along with a blog platform for approved authors to submit regular content to cover various aspects of mental health. And a free resource centre including various downloadable media files and valuable articles on things such as meditation, yoga and nutrition.
It has been well documented recently that there are much needed resources and more research in to viable treatment options for sufferers of certain mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. With long delays for patients awaiting treatments and vast amounts of money being spent on prescribed medications, along with the alarming rate in which cases of mental health issues are being discovered, these problems are unlikely to be resolved anytime soon.
Anxiety United has been created for registered members to engage and share experiences with other members who are not only sufferers, but also survivors of mental health. Experience is our teacher; what we learn, we must share.
