The CCMMMA (Centro Campano for monitoring and the marine and atmospheric modeling), created in the context of the Prometheus project (financed thanks to the LR n.13 of 20 December 2004), aims to develop new skills and provide an operational service for the entire Campania Region aimed at monitoring and modeling the weather and marine conditions, of the air quality and the state of the sea, enhancing and enhancing some resources and enhancing some resources and enhancing Structural and technical-scientific peculiar of the University of Naples "Parthenope".
Accummm was born with the aim of disseminating the citizens the results acquired and developed by the Center, relating to the weather forecasts of the Campania Region, and beyond.
The main features are:
- View of the current weather situation and forecasts up to 5 days following.
- View detailed forecasts now for now with data relating to: 10m wind speed, 10m wind direction, temperature in Celsius, pressure at sea level, fraction of cloud cover and cumulated hourly rain.
- Possibility to search for a location.
- Possibility to save the location in your favorites.
- View of graphs, built on the data acquired by the device, with the possibility of choosing the time interval to be viewed.
- Possibility to choose the units of measurement for wind speed (km/I have knt).
Note: The data distribution service is in the experimental phase. The developer is not responsible for slowdowns or malfunctions caused by the CCMMMA servers.
