Cooperative ITS Mobility deployment of Safety and Sustainability Services
Grâce à Compass4D (www.compass4d.eu), nous installons le premier pilote opérationnel de systèmes coopératifs en France avec l'installation de 22 unités de route (ses stations) connectées à l'infrastructure et 34 unités embarquées installées dans les véhicules. This deployment is done on urban roads in the center of Bordeaux and on inter-urban roads on the ring road of Bordeaux. This operational deployment permits Geoloc systems to propose a complete off the shelf solution to other cities and roads. The application offers 4 services :
GLOSA (Green Light Optimal Speed Advice)
GLOSA is a service which indicates to the driver the optimal speed permitting to have a green light. Il est assez facile, lorsque votre voiture est à environ 300 mètres du feu de circulation, il enverra les conseils de vitesse auxquels vous devriez conduire afin d'atteindre le feu au vert. Like this, you will consume less fuel, CO2 and your global driving time will be lower. This information is provided through an intuitive smartphone application.
Start/stop idling
Lorsque votre voiture s'arrête à un feu rouge et qu'elle est équipée de l'option de démarrage / arrêt du ralenti, il est parfois frustrant de devoir redémarrer le moteur quelques secondes après votre arrêt. Furthermore, stopping the engine is profitable if it lasts more than 7 seconds. Our smartphone application will tell you if it is worthwhile to cut the engine. This will be the case if the time to green is superior to 7 seconds.
Emergency vehicle in approach alert
Lorsqu'un véhicule d'urgence appartenant au service d'incendie de Bordeaux et équipé d'approches Compass4D et est en intervention, il enverra un signal d'alerte qui peut être reçu par un autre véhicule équipé de Compass4D. An alert message saying that an emergency vehicle is approaching will appear on the smartphone.
Real time road events and incidents
You will receive in real time road events located on the ring road of Bordeaux. Les accidents, les embouteillages, les travaux routiers, les incidents, les événements météorologiques font partie des nombreux types d'événements gérés et fournis par le Cystem Tipi Tipi gérés par le Céréa Dterso et le ministère français des Transports (MEDDE). The smartphone application proposes 3 views (map view, radar view, proximity event alert).
This application only works with a specific hardware installation in your car which will be provided by most of the car manufacturers in 2016.
